Creating a Timeless Place
The Congressional Medal of Honor celebrated its 150th year in the most apt of settings: The Gettysburg Battlefield. The evening honored the 79 living Medal of Honor recipients and brought together contemporary military heroes with the warriors that came before them.
The Congressional Medal of Honor Society needed a tone-setter befitting this important sesquicentennial event--something that tied the present to the past, that placed these soldiers in a continuum of service, and that led to a final cannonade.
