The Digital Content Strategist will work closely with our Director of Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing Coordinator, and our digital and design teams, to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns for our agency’s top clients.

What You Will Primarily Do

  • Work with the marketing team to develop web, social, and email marketing/content strategies, often times amplified through paid media.

  • Develop audience personas, and creates marketing content based on audience demographics, needs, motivations, emotional drivers, and more.

  • Repurpose content for a variety of different mediums, including social media, email, online, video, and more.

  • Develop and manages reports to analyze and optimize digital marketing activities, and assess against objectives, goals, and KPIs. 

  • Work directly with other content contributors within the organization, including copywriters, graphic designers, video and motion graphics teams, and others.

  • Actively contribute to marketing strategy documents, presentations, and proposal writing, as needed.

Other Responsibilities

  • Create inbound marketing campaigns, including building marketing automation workflows, utilizing tools like Hubspot, MailChimp, and others.
  • Assist with managing online advertising campaigns, as needed.

  • Assist with new business opportunities as needed

Skills and Experience You Need

  • Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or another related field.

    • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing/communications at an agency handling multiple concurrent clients and projects

    • Demonstrated expertise and results creating content strategies and implementing engaging digital content including organic social media, blogs, landing page content, web copy, email marketing, and digital advertising.

    • Experience writing content for client campaigns and developing content with teams including for social media campaigns

    • Strong presentation and written communication skills and the ability to interface well with clients. 

    • Self-starter with strong time management skills; adept at working under tight deadlines; able to evaluate priorities and manage a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment.

    • Understanding of the benefits of enhancing customer experience and a desire to grow knowledge in CX principles

    • Proficiency in Google Analytics and other analytics tools

  • Desired

    • Knowledge of Google AdWords, paid social platforms, a plus, but not required.

    • Knowledge of content management systems, including WordPress and Drupal, a plus, but not required.

    • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML and CSS is a plus, but not required.
