Yes& is looking for a Human Resources Generalist who will run the daily functions of the Human Resources department.
The Human Resources Generalist will maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, audit HRIS reports and provide briefings to management, administer the onboarding processes from pre-hire through the first 90 days of new employment, and act as point-of-contact of benefits administration between external and internal stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Administer benefits processes during insurance plan year
- Communicate effectively to insurance carrier and broker representatives
- Gather and maintain up-to-date knowledge of primary and ancillary benefits best practices
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Consistently review policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Lead Human Resources-related professional development trainings
- Act as subject matter expert for Human Resources needs and functions for the agency
Experience You Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- At least three (3) years of human resource management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Applications
- Good telephone etiquette (receptionist experience helpful)
- Ability to keep departmental information confidential
- Detail-oriented
Experience that Would be a Plus, but not Required
- SHRM-CP highly attractive
- Fluency in creating and analyzing HRIS reports
