Yes& is looking for a Human Resources Generalist who will run the daily functions of the Human Resources department.

The Human Resources Generalist will maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, audit HRIS reports and provide briefings to management, administer the onboarding processes from pre-hire through the first 90 days of new employment, and act as point-of-contact of benefits administration between external and internal stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Administer benefits processes during insurance plan year
  • Communicate effectively to insurance carrier and broker representatives
  • Gather and maintain up-to-date knowledge of primary and ancillary benefits best practices
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
  • Consistently review policies and practices to maintain compliance 
  • Lead Human Resources-related professional development trainings 
  • Act as subject matter expert for Human Resources needs and functions for the agency

Experience You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • At least three (3) years of human resource management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Applications
  • Good telephone etiquette (receptionist experience helpful)
  • Ability to keep departmental information confidential
  • Detail-oriented

Experience that Would be a Plus, but not Required

  • SHRM-CP highly attractive
  • Fluency in creating and analyzing HRIS reports
