Yes& is looking for a Public Relations Account Coordinator who will assist the public relations accounts team in coordinating public relations plans for agency clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting multiple accounts by taking ownership of client coverage reports, developing media lists, monitoring trends, reviewing publications, and some media relations support.

 

 

 

 

What You Will Do

  • Assist with the coordination of public relations campaigns and project activities
  • Acquire knowledge of client’s business through online databases, publications, associations/research organizations and monitor their trends and developments
  • Write basic media advisory and press releases, promotions, new business announcements
  • Schedule meetings with clients and internal teams, attend project and client update meetings and keep detailed notes, develop project to-do and action lists 

Experience You Need

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in journalism, public relations or a related field 
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in public relations
  • Superior organizational and project management skills
  • Superior writing, research, and oral presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite products and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a Public Trust Security Clearance

Experience that Would be a Plus, but not Required

  • Familiarity with government clients and/or insurance programs
