The bank website needed to remain easy to use and intuitive for current customers, and draw new audiences in with a more sophisticated interface and mobile-friendly web design. Ultimately, success hinged on balancing these two needs ensure that both current and new customers have a rewarding experience.


Focus on the User Experience

United Bank drew on our experience with bank website design, and our extensive expertise in user experience to create a web presence that works consistently for users, regardless of device. We performed strategy, design, copywriting and development for the site in conjunction with the United Bank team.

The new website uses the Drupal Content Management System (CMS) to let bank staff easily and effectively manage the pages on the site. Drupal provides a strong foundation for future growth of the financial institution’s primary web presence.

There were several improvements to the performance of the new United Bank site upon launch. Smartphone usage and engagement was dramatically increased due to the addition of the mobile responsive design, and natural search traffic has increased due to the improved content strategy and coding of the site.
