Differentiating a Rewards Program

Choice Hotels debuted a set of major enhancements to its Choice Privileges loyalty program and needed to drive significantly greater participation in the program on the part of both existing and new members.  

As a major component of the marketing of the new Choice Privileges, Yes& partnered with Choice to create a series of "edutainment" videos that shared the new benefits in an easily digestible way.

It was important that the videos excited viewers, and motivated them to take action; distinguish Choice Rewards as different from and better than competing loyalty programs; embody the Choice and Choice Privileges brands; educate enough to interest a viewer without overloading him or her with detail; and be interesting/entertaining enough to motivate the viewer to watch all four.

Solution

Holding Fast to a Promise

For Choice Privileges members, better means faster. And we wanted to help Choice own “fast” among rewards programs. We created a series of animated “shorts,” quick on pace, tight on details, and asking members to take swift action.
